G1000 WAN/4 Card
The G1000-WAN4 Card (WAN4) provides four-port serial port for additional
port density for the Gateway 1000 systems at a cost-effective price.
Each port's dedicated microprocessor allows for high throughput
for X.25 connections. This card can be installed
in any G1000. The WAN4 Card provides full
on-board processing intelligence to support the connection to the
X.25 network or device.

Jumper Settings:
The WAN4 Card has one blue switch
bank with 7 pins. Pins flipped down (towards the motherboard) are "OFF" or "0". The
seven WAN4 Card pins are:
The first three pins on the switch
(Pins 1, 2 and 3) assign the I/O Address used by the WAN4 Card(s). All of the WAN4 Cards
installed in a G1000 must have these three pins set to the same position. The remaining
four pins (A - D) define the Card Number used by the individual WAN4 Card. Each WAN4 Card
must have a unique setting on these pins.
