Gateway Series Overview
JBM Electronics has specialized in interface and
protocol conversion since 1975. Our product lineup provides features
and functionality specifically designed for the networking needs
of the financial and Point of Sale (POS) industry. The JBM Gateways
are low-cost, Linux-based routers with many features not found in
other networking products. All of the Gateways share a common processor
architecture and operating system. The only difference between the
units is the form factors, port type and port density.
OVERVIEW
All
of the Gateways share the same core functions. The only difference
between models is the size of the unit and number and types of ports.
The Gateways are Linux-based routers with a range of security and
application features, including:

(VPN, IPSec, 3DES and SSL transport and a full Stateful packet
inspection Firewall)

Conversion (Convert any protocol to TCP/IP)

Server for concentration of many async dial devices

The G1000 is an open chassis system that supports both JBM-designed
cards as well as industry standard cards. The G1000 provides
circuit concentration, interface conversion, protocol conversion,
IP and data-sensitive routing, RAS server capabilities, and
statistical analysis of transaction data. |
