X.25 Migration Example

The Gateway 700 converts the data from the IP device to X.25. The G700 supports PVC and SVC connections. In this example, the data is transmitted over an existing X.25 network to a central site. The response is converted back to TCP/IP for transmission to the new devices.

The data from the IP device is sent over one PVC. The G700 can also be configured so each IP address is sent on a unique X.25 address.
