GFrame Ordering Options
Overview
The
Gateway 700, 800 and 900 have
several options that must be properly specified at time of order
to work in your installation. The Gateways can be ordered with a
combination of model number and feature codes. The order will have
the following format:

The cables for
the Gateways can be ordered from JBM Electronics or fabricated using
the information in the unit's Cable Manual.
Step 1 – Model Selection
The Frame Relay Series is available with a variety
of DSU options. The available models are:

Typical uses for the Gateways include converting
synchronous protocols or TCP/IP devices to X.25 or Frame Relay.
Step 2 – Power Supply
The
Gateways use an internal power supply, which supports voltages from
100 V to 240 V. The standard power supply is a US power cord. In
an international power supply cable is required, use the Feature
Code – H.
For example,
to order a G700 with a non-US power cord, use order code –
G700-H.
The International
power cable terminates in a PC-style connector (IEC 60320) and requires
a customer-supplied power cord.
