G500 Ordering Options

Overview

The Gateway 500, 530 and 550 have several options that must be properly specified at time of order to work in your installation. The Gateways can be ordered with a combination of model number and feature codes. The order will have the following format:

 

Model Number - Power Supply

The cables for the Gateways can be ordered from JBM Electronics or fabricated using the information in the unit's Cable Manual.

 

Step 1 – Model Selection

The G500 Series is available with a variety of port configurations. The available models are:

Typical uses for the Gateways include converting synchronous protocols to TCP/IP.

 

Step 2 – Power Supply

The Gateways use an internal power supply, which supports voltages from 100 V to 240 V. The standard power supply is a US power cord. In an international power supply cable is required, use the Feature Code – H.

For example, to order a G500 with a non-US power cord, use order code – G500-H.

The International power cable terminates in a PC-style connector (IEC 60320) and requires a customer-supplied power cord.
