G1000 Ordering Options

Overview

The Gateway 1000 has several options that must be properly specified at time of order to work in your installation. The Gateways can be ordered with a combination of model number and feature codes. The order will have the following format:

 

Model Number - Expansion Cards

The cables for the Gateways can be ordered from JBM Electronics or fabricated using the information in the unit's Cable Manual.

 

Step 1 – Model Selection

The G1000 Series is available with a variety of chassis configurations. The available models are:

These units contain a Pentium-class processor, 128 MB RAM and a 10/100BaseT Ethernet interface

Typical uses for the Gateways include data center consolidation of several types of communications lines and protocols.

Step 2 – Power Supply

The G1000 has an internal auto-ranging power supply. The power supply terminates in a PC-style connector (IEC 60320) and requires a customer-supplied power cord for non-US connections.

 

Step 3 – Expansion Cards

The G1000 supports a variety of expansion cards, which provide the network interface. The following table lists the standard cards:

Step 4 – Cables

The Gateways has a standard Ethernet connector:
